Killzone: Mercenary has been getting a lot of attention in the past week. Now it has a confirmed release date and a brand new trailer!…

So when will you be able to get a hold of this title? Well the release date is set for September 17, 2013! It is still quite a ways out, but it is looking very promising. Here is the latest trailer for Killzone: Mercenary!

Now there still isn’t a huge amount of information out on this title, but we do know a few details about Killzone Mercenary. Killzone Mercenary does indeed use the Killzone 3 engine, which is great. The story apparently picks up after the ending of Killzone 1.

There is said to be nine single player missions that each last about one hour, one hour is fairly long for a portable title! Now there is no true confirmation on this, but apparently it will support up to eight players in multiplayer. There is also said to be six multiplayer maps.

It is said that there are also three different game modes, including a game mode known as Warzone. There is also an in-game currency that is used to purchase weapons and such.

I’m sure we will be hearing more news as the release gets closer!
