Worms Revolution Extreme release date announced for PS Vita

Worms Revolution Extreme was revealed for the PS Vita a couple months back, and now we have received the glorious release date...

Well if you are here for the release date then you will be happy to know that on October 8th it will available for all to enjoy on PSN. Unless you happen to be outside of the U.S, in which case you will receive it on October 9th.

Worms Revolution Extreme comes packed with 72 campaign levels. You will play your way through all sorts puzzles and themed challenges which is honestly one of my favorite things about the Worms series.

All of you online freaks will be happy to know that multiplayer is included in the PS Vita version. Multiplayer modes allow you and 3 other players to enjoy 3 different game-modes online together.

Of course it wouldn't be much of a PS Vita title if it didn't take advantage of the PS Vita's touch capabilities, but Worms Revolution Extreme does just that. With touch features enabled you can use the tips of your fingers to select items and even aim weapons.

If you don't own the PS3 version then now may also be the chance to pick up on it. Worms Revolution Extreme has support for cross-saving. This means you can carry your game over from where you are at on the PS3, or vise versa. The PS3 version is also currently on sale for PS Plus members so now is the time to jump on the discount before it's gone.

Worms Revolution Extreme will cost you just $14.99/£11.99/€14.99 via PSN.

Well if your reading this you probably want to know a little about me, so I'll go ahead and ramble while I have your attention. My name is Austin and when I'm not grooming puppies and watering daisies... Wait I never do those things. Anyways, I'm currently studying to go into law enforcement and I run this site as a side job. It gives me something to do in my spare time. I enjoy covering all the latest news on gaming, and hopefully you enjoy reading it as much as I love covering it.
